Choli (the full sleeve blouse on top) & traditional handmade shawls.

Meanwhile girls in Bhabha valley making their weekend count during harvesting with their helping hands at the farm.

Wondering what are they talking about! May be about how schools and colleges are still not opening & its getting boring or what all they would do after they are done plucking for the day or planning their weeks ahead.
Who knows!

At least by looking at them from the distance we could say they are enjoying their weekend with each others company while harvesting small batches of apples.

For those who know about our culture may also be aware of “an integral role of women in our households”.

They are who make our community stronger and hardworking, and has played an intrinsic role in preserving our cultural traditions for ages.

In a terrain that demands strong physical and mental will, females in Kinnaur are still quietly leading us in being patient, hardworking, and determined with their equal contribution in the farming activities in addition to other responsibilities of managing their aspirations, careers, relations, and tons of household tasks, while still keeping their charming feminity intact and at their best.

We still don’t know how do they do all this, but...with Kayang, we celebrate our Women who we will always be highly grateful to!
